About the event
In this four-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of the ancient Japanese craft of Temari-e, embroidered thread balls. From core construction to mari winding and the placement of division lines, followed by stitching a simple design into the surface of the ball, you will learn all the basics to get you started in this elegant and stunning craft. All supplies are provided. Please note that this workshop is manually intensive and may not be suitable for those with physical limitations in their hands.
